When you are employed at RUC, you must register all your publications in Pure.
In addition to publications, a variety of other content can also be registered, including awards received, participation in conferences, editorial work, project involvement, etc. Data from Pure is used, among other things, for RUC's research evaluation as well as departmental evaluations, so it is important that all publications and similar are registered with as much data as possible.
If you wish to register publications in Pure that you authored before your employment at RUC, you have several options:
- Ask Roskilde University Library to import publications from your previous employment—this is possible if you were employed at a Danish research institution that uses Pure. You can contact us at rucforsk@kb.dk.
- Import publications from Scopus via Pure.
- Transfer publications from ORCID.
- Report publications manually.
The Pure team consists of employees at Roskilde University Library (The Royal Library) as well as Roskilde University. The team handles all tasks related to research registration in Pure, working closely with RUC. We work on support, operation, and development of research registration at Roskilde University and focus on the following areas:
- Promoting the visibility of RUC's research
- Supporting and informing about the Open Access initiative and free access to research publications wherever possible
- Providing information and guidance on publication strategies
- Generating reports for, among others, deans and the RUC executive management
In addition, we manage the daily operation and support of Pure and assist system users with issues related to research registration. The team also holds overall responsibility for validating the research year at Roskilde University.

Your profile description should help visitors to the website get a quick overview of who you are as a researcher. It is therefore important that your profile is easy to read and tailored to the target audiences relevant to your research and teaching.
The guidelines provide instructions on how to indicate various profile details, such as research field, teaching, or information about industry-related collaborations. The guidelines also include information on how to add ORCID and SDG goals to your profile, as well as links to other profiles, such as LinkedIn or Twitter.
